Founded in 1946.Overstrand Sports Club was formed in 1946 and the field is open to the public for sporting and recreational activities.
Overstrand Sports Club is situated in the centre of the village on the High Street. It is a registered charity and home to a thriving Cricket and Bowls club. The grounds are open to all, 7 days a week. The grounds are host to the renowned Rockstock music festival held in July each year and a showcase for local bands. The grounds also hold regular open mic nights and an annual beer festival plus host village events such as the village fair and other fundraising events. Over the last 80 years Overstrand Sports Club has become a community hub for social events and sports for the residents of Overstrand, holiday visitors and the inhabitants of neighbouring towns and villages.

The Pavilion is available for private hire, and is frequently used by local clubs, for coffee mornings and for private parties, all at a reasonable rate.
Bowls Club
The bowling green can be found in the north east corner of Overstrand Sports Ground, situated in the heart of the village and adjoins both High Street and Harbord. A more delightful setting to enjoy a game of Federation Bowls on a summers day would be hard to find.
Bowling Season
The season starts at the end of April and, weather permitting, will finish at the end of September. Roll Ups every Monday and Friday at 1:30pm. All welcome – Please wear flat soled shoes and comfortable clothing. Bowls can be provided, all welcome!

Overstrand CC are a friendly, sociable and inclusive cricket club. If you have any queries or would like to join, then please get in touch.
Community Activities
Car Boot Sale - Thursday mornings 8am - 12pm during the summer.
Village Coffee mornings - Thursday mornings 10am - 12 in The Pavilion. (from September)
Open Mic Nights - Last Friday of the month from 8pm. Bar open!
Rockstock Festival - held annually in July
Overstrand Village Fair and ‘Overstrand Together’ events are held regularly throughout the year - check banners and posters for details.
